I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who has been counseling people in crisis since 2000.  It has always been my goal to help people reach their full potential, recognizing that so many of us have been held back by beliefs about ourselves that simply aren't true, or emotional patterns that keep us stuck in a rut personally, professionally, relationally.  I have always been deliberate in my life to be curious about other people and cultures, to explore the wide range of human experiences through art, religion, literature, and philosophy.  I am a psychologist by trade, but at heart, I am a person who believes in the potential of all human beings to love, create, and thrive given the opportunity.

I completed my doctoral training at the George Washington University in Washington DC and interned at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.  In Los Angeles, I have served as a Clinical and Executive Director for Promises Treatment Centers, one of the most highly regarded drug & alcohol treatment centers in the world. I have also served as the Vice President of Programming & Residential Services for the Los Angeles Youth Network, where I had the opportunity to generate programs, teach in the community, and advocate for cutting-edge trauma treatment with abused adolescents.

Since I began serving others as a crisis counselor almost 20 years ago, I have made it my mission to seek out ways to facilitate people's growth and well-being throughout their lifespan.  Whether you are looking for help with some of life's everyday challenges or something more severe, I can help.
